BREAKING: Kidnappers abduct several travellers on Ekiti-Ondo road

Many people were kidnapped on Thursday evening between Ikere Ekiti in Ekiti
State and Iju, Ondo State.

The victims were in two vehicles (Toyota Corolla and a white Highlander).

“They were abducted and led into the bush.”

Witnesses post a video indicating gunshot unleached on a bus coveying passengers from Ekiti to Ondo State.

The buses and a female travelling bag were riddled with bullets.

Sources told newsman that the victims were later taken into the bush by the abductors.

When contacted, the State Police public relations officer, Funmi Odunlami who could not confirm if it was a case of kidnap said police men had been deployed to comb the area.

She assured that the state Police command would soon unravel what took place.
