Reactions as Former Cab Driver Calls Out Singer Teni For Lack Of Tips

The former Uber driver took to social media to air his grievances, stating that he streamed her songs during their trips but she never tipped him.

Nigerian Singer, Teni Apata popularly known as Teni has fired back at a US-based Nigerian man who criticized her for not tipping him during a ride, following her act of generosity towards a woman who wakes up early to cook for her husband.

The incident unfolded after the man saw a post by Teni on social media offering financial assistance to a woman who wakes up at 4.50am to prepare lunch for her spouse.

The former Uber driver took to social media to air his grievances, stating that he streamed her songs during their trips but she never tipped him.

while she donated money to a married woman just to boost her own ego, rather than out of genuine care.

While many Nigerians defended Teni, accusing the former Uber driver of entitlement, he clarified that he was seeking gratitude rather than feeling entitled to her money.

In response, Teni swiftly addressed the situation on her X account suggesting that the man needed toothpaste and deodorant.

“Na deodorant and toothpaste Gangan u need”
