BREAKING: Nigerian Army distributes educational materials to schools in Ogun

Nigerian Army, 35 Artillery Brigade, Alamala in a bid to build security synergy with the people of Ogun donated educational materials to secondary school students in Ogun East ,Ijebu-Ode.

 

The Brigade led by the Commander, Brigadier General Mohammed Tajudeen Aminu emphasized that the initiative aligned with the army’s “Exercise Still Water” and civic endeavours.

 

Aminu noted that the programme was aimed at contributing to host communities and bolstering the country’s education sector.

 

He expressed the brigade’s dedication to make impact in community activities, highlighting the routine exercise of selecting schools for financial assistance.

 

The Brigade which had donated solar Borehole water to host community in Ogun Central, free medical services in Ogun West, donated textbooks, exercise books, mathematical sets and school bags.

 

The commander added that the army had continued to enjoy harmonious relationship with people of the community, urging students to make judicious use of the donations.

 

”We are here to make donation to the school, to contribute to the development of education. I hope this little will go a long way and impact on the students.

 

”It is an activity to bridge the gap between the community and the Nigeria Army and we will undertake this from time to time,” he said

 

As part of the gesture, Aminu announced support for three outstanding students, covering their WAEC and JAMB examination fees.

 

The principal of the school, Ogunbowale Olusegun Adetayo, commended the brigade for its continuous support.
