NANS passes vote of confidence in BOUESTI VC, Prof. Adeoluwa

NANS Southwest Zone celebrating the extraordinary attainment in BOUESTI under the leadership of the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Victor Adeoluwa.

Revolutionary Greetings from the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Southwest Zone. This esteemed association would like to extend its profound commendations to the Vice-Chancellor of BOUESTI, Prof. Victor Adeoluwa, for his meritorious and transformative service. Prof. Adeoluwa’s personal and professional contributions have been instrumental in catalysing remarkable changes and improvements in the university, ranging from infrastructural upgrades such as the renovation of office blocks and the provision of solar street lights around the campus, to the establishment of practical and innovative units like CERAD, the Enterprising Unit, the Consultancy Centre, and the Disability Support Unit.

 

Prof. Adeoluwa has proven his commitment to academic excellence, demonstrating this through the facilitation of 78 new programmes approved by the NUC, and the promotion of academically qualified personnel to professorial positions. His efforts have expanded educational opportunities for students, and have significantly elevated the academic standing of the institution. Simultaneously, through the procurement of science laboratory equipment and office furniture worth hundreds of millions of Naira, he has created an environment conducive to both teaching and learning.

 

Under Prof. Adeoluwa’s leadership, BOUESTI has not only started part-time programmes and built a Dental Clinic at the Health Centre, but has also achieved laudable recognition in educational circles. This includes being ranked the 27th best University in Nigeria by the Times Higher Education ranking, and the Africa Outstanding University of Education, an award presented at the University of Rwanda, Kigali. It is also noteworthy that BOUESTI received the accolade of being the most outstanding University in the South-West Region at the Nigeria Hemisphere Awards in Abuja.

 

NANS Southwest Zone hereby passes a vote of confidence in Prof. Victor Adeoluwa, acknowledging his extraordinary accomplishments, and expressing our gratitude for his unwavering dedication to the advancement of BOUESTI. We are confident that under his exemplary stewardship, the University will continue to achieve new heights of excellence in research, innovation and scholarship.
