Popular Nigerian music executive Samklef has provided a progress report on the substantial crowdfunding effort for Mohbad’s 5-month-old son, which has now surpassed 32 million naira.
It’s well-known that Mohbad, the “KPK” hitmaker passed away on September 12, 2023, leaving behind his wife, Wunmi, and their 5-month-old son.
Charitable Nigerians have gathered together to raise millions of naira to support the singer’s child.
As of September 18th, 2023, Nigerians have raised over 15 million naira to assist his wife and five-month-old son, Liam.
However, Samklef took to his Twitter page on 19th Sept to give an update on the total sum raised so far which he revealed to be at N32,744,900.
He wrote; “So far we have raised! N32,744,900 so far for mohbad son! God bless everyone contributing there is the deputy governor of Lagos state @drobafemihamzat paying last respects for imole!mohbad”.
