Marlian Music label boss, Naira Marley has taken to his Instagram page to mourn the death of his former signee, Mohbad.
In a statement he shared on his Instagram page, the singer described Mohbad as “an incredible street pop star who contributed to the foundation of the Marlian Music.” He also shared a tribute video which showed he and Mohbad during performances and hang outs.
He also said the label never wished any harm on Mohbad despite their fall-out which saw him exit the label.
Naira further called on the authorities to carry out an investigation into Mohbad’s demise.
The late singer, whose real name was Ilerioluwa Olademeji Aloba aka Mohbad, died on Tuesday, September 12.
