OAU Graduate Abducted On Her Way To NYSC Orientation Camp

A prospective member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Akande Abosede Esther, with Call-up No.: NYSC/IFE/2023/201810 (Batch B stream 2), has been kidnapped in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

Miss Akande, a graduate of Education/English from the Obafemi Awolowo University, was said to have been kidnapped on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, while on her way to the NYSC permanent orientation camp, Magaji Dan Yanusa Keffi, Nasarawa State.

According to Punch, the kidnappers have since contacted Akande’s family and are demanding a ransom of N1m.
