“I bought fuel of N1.2 million for my car, and it’s still half tank” – Skit maker, Ashmusy raises voice

Nigerian content creator, Amarachi Amusi, popularly known as Ashmusy, has voiced her concerns about the rising cost of petrol in the country.

You will recall that following the removal of subsidy, the pump price of petrol increased to N568 and has now reached N617 per litre.

Taking to her Instagram page to vent her frustration, Ashmusy claimed she spent a whopping N1.2 million on fuel for her car, and yet it was only half tank.

“I just bought fuel of 1.2m for my car, and it’s still half tank 😩 Somebody save me 😭😭 daddy please 🙏🏿,” she wrote.

While it was apparent that her statement was intended as a joke, some netizens didn’t take it lightly and criticized her for being insensitive during such a crucial time.

Reacting an Instagram user @chioma wrote, “Na everything these people they use chase clout🤦🏻‍♀️”

“This people go just Dey cap nonsense, weyrey gbogbo yin, even if your tank is 100litre tank, full tank is still #61,700, what’s all these lies nau🙄”, another user added.
