The development is coming a few weeks after the removal of petrol subsidy which now has petrol retail prices skyrocketing.

Reacting to this, in a statement on Tuesday, Apostle Gbenga Asiwaju said it’s absolutely wrong at this period.

“It’s ill-timed! Nigerians are still groaning under the effects of fuel subsidy removal. Everyone is trying to maneuver in order to survive the high cost of living due to high cost of fuel and then the government is coming up with electricity tariff hike.. its absolutely wrong”

Apostle Asiwaju further said the Government should not make the masses to be living as people in slavery in their own Country like the Israelites in Egypt.
