President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed Rtd AIG Hakeem Odumosu as the substantive Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
President Tinubu approved the appointment of Odumosu as substantive Chairman of the EFCC on Tuesday.
He was a former Lagos State police commissioner and retired Assistant Inspector General of Police.
His appointment is, however subject to confirmation by the Senate.
The new EFCC Chairman is a crack cop who was widely feared by people with criminal tendencies when he held forte as commissioner of police in Lagos.
