Osogbo/Olorunda local government area of Osun – State wear a new look on Thursday under the supervision of Grand Immam of Osun State, Fadhilat Sheikh( Al- Immam) Musa Animasahun at the first Inauguration of New Executives officers for the Council of Imams and KHUTOBAAU of Nigeria (CIKH), held at Capital Central Mosque, Oja- oba, Osogbo.
At the Inauguration, Imam AbdulGaniy Shitu, of Oladejo Central Mosque, Ogo- Oluwa, led the Opening prayer, while the recitation from the glorious Quran was said by Imam Abdul Semiu Abdul fattahi.
Delivering his lecture, the Chief Imam Islahudeen Central Mosque, who also doubled as the guest Lecturer, Sheikh Abdul-Hafees Harun, Quoted from Q4; 58,59 Saying, “Allah Command you that you restore deposit to their owners, and, if you judge between mankind, that you judge justly. Allah admonished, Allah is ever Hearer, Seer.”
“(59) ..O You who believe! Obey Allah, and obey the Messenger and those of you who are in the Authority: if you have a dispute concerning any matter, refer it to Allah and the Messenger, if you truly believe in Allah and the last day”
He corroborated his sermon by calling the new executive and participants of the occasion to borrow the leave from the teaching of the Holy Prophet, the trustworthiness, dedicated and perseverance, not interm of short trousers and big Beard.
Imam Tajudeen Atunbi who also doubled as State Chairman performed the inauguration exercise, warned them against the greedyness on the course of discharging their duty to Allah and Humanity.
Imam Tajudeen showered them with the rain of prayer.
Special Prayer was offered to the new Executives by the Grand Imam of Osogbland, fadhilat Sheikh Musa Animasahun.
Part of the event; donation were also collected through the wish of people that attended the program.
In his inaugural speech, Imam Tajudeen Aresa, call on every Executives and KHUTOBAAU across the two Local governments to please rally round the New Executives.
He called for maximum cooperation among all, saying… “because, a tree can never make a forest.”
Imam Tirmidh presented certificate for the New Executives, while the closing prayer was done by one of Imam from the State level.
Dignitaries present at the Occasion were; Alhaji Abdul Rasaq Bamgbade, State Chairman of KHUTOBBAU, Imam Tajudeen Atunbi, Imam Tirmidh and Host of others.
Briefing the newsmen after the Inauguration, the New Chairman Imam Tajudeen Aresa praised the effort of the Grand Imam of Osogboland, Fadhilat Sheikh Musa Animasahun for his humane and steadfastness towards the success of this Inauguration ceremony.
He also thanked the entire Executive for their Contribution, the duo of Imam Junaid Olafatha, who is also the deputy Chairman and the Secretary, Imam Abdul.
While speaking with Journalists, Jeleel Alaran gives thanks to God Almighty Allah for making today a reality.
