THE Brave Woman Progressive Association, has congratulated the Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke over the judgment of the Court of Appeal which set aside the January 27, 2023 judgement of the Osun state Governorship Election Tribunal and upheld his victory at the July 16, 2022 Governorship election.
In a statement signed by the national president, Evangelist Matilda Farinde and made available to Newsmen on Friday, the Association said that the jubilation that erupted in Osun state on the heels of the judgement showed that Adeleke mandate came from the people of the state.
“Governor Adeleke’s triumph at the Appeal Court, is the will of almighty God and people of Osun and the victory is for democracy and a resounding affirmation of the expressed quest for a good governance in the State.”
“The jubilation in Osun is a testimony that Governor Adeleke’s election is not only a reflection of the aspiration of the majority of the people of Osun State but also that of millions of lovers of democracy.
The association further hailed Yeye Dupe Adeleke-Sanni, and Osun State chapter of People s’ Democratic party, (PDP) members for support to Mr Governor, before, during, after election and in the administration.
“We appreciate Yeye Dupe Adeleke-Sanni for her support, We pray that God will continue to lead them and the administration will be successful and deliver. And for coming election for second term will also be hallelujah and victory,” the statement read.
