Ondo: APC’s Alleged Plan To Militarize Ode Aye – PDP, Community Caution Against Invasion

VOICE AIR MEDIA News Update

THE Director of Startegic Contact, Communication and mobilization for Okitipupa Constituency 2 PDP House of Assembly Campaign Council has called for caution invasion.

In a statement signed by Oyeniyi Iwakun, on Friday in Aye, Ondo state.

“Our attention has been drawn to the miscalculated mission of some leaders and political appointees of All Progressives Progress (APC), particularly from Ode Aye in Okitipupa LGA to import hoodlums disguised in Police and Military uniforms to impersonate in conspiracy with some security agencies so as to intimidate, assault, snatch ballot boxes and scare voters not to exercise their civic rights in Aye township and its environments.

“This futile agenda is aimed at manipulating results of the elections via subverting the will of the people at all levels.

“These anti democratic forces are aware of the imminent victory of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Hon. Kolawole Samuel and seeking all illegal means to crumble the electoral systems through the backdoor.

“The PDP and the entire people of Okitipupa Constituency 2 wishes to implore the Inspector General of Police and other concerned security agencies to call these APC leaders to order, as the people of Aye are not cowards.

“They have resolved to vote their choices, stand by their votes and anything outside this will face serious resistance, statement reads.
