Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji has proven without doubt that he is an “Omoluabi”and a true son of the soil within the last few months he started his regime as the Governor of this great state “Ekiti state”.

“Without gainsaying, he has discharged his duties appropriately as a servant of the people and not just a leader. It is a thing of Joy to have someone who is closer to the masses and also have the interest of everyone at heart irrespective of their social status and class, as the number one citizen of the state.”

In the message made available to the public, by Olajide Omotayo Samuel, described the Victory recorded in Ekiti state during the last Presidential, Senatorial and House of Representatives election had proven yet again, that Ekiti state people are sophisticated set of people who are very enthusiastic and keen on competency and track records of individuals who should govern them. This is what have given us the edge we have now.”

“We appeal with all sense of humility and sense of responsibility to all party leaders across the twenty six(26) constituencies in Ekiti state to bury all grievances and annoyance that might be going on within the party and work for the candidates of our great party, the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the forthcoming state house of assembly elections. It is very important to defend the BAO mandate which we have secured during the last Gubernatorial election in the state. To defend the BAO mandate, it is best we secure every seat of the state house of assembly without giving room for intruders. An adage says, “A kì í fi ọwọ́ kan pàtẹ́wọ́” “Ęyę ò lè fi apá kan fò” “Agbajowo lafi soya”.

“It is also important to note that the Victory given to our great party, the All Progressive Congress (APC) during the last Gubernatorial election is still being challenged in court by the Social Democratic Party (SDP). We know cases like this are necessary to come up after elections because some elements of distraction will surely come up with cases against who God and the masses had chosen. We need to prove to the opposition parties particularly the SDP, that the Victory given to our great party (APC) during the Gubernatorial election is by the people of this great state, a testament of it which was also proven during the last presidential election when the people voted massively and intelligently for our President-Elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

“To further prove beyond doubts that the Victory was given to our great party, the APC, it is important we set aside any grudges within the party and work for the success of the candidates of this party during the forthcoming house of assembly elections.

“It has come to our notice through some reliable Intel that the SDP had organized series of rebelling meetings with the aim of revolting and frustrating the APC and BAO lead administration in the state. It is disheartening to know that some of our party leaders and members are also romancing with these candidates of rebellious political party, It is said that the SDP are targeting to secure at least Ten (10) consistencies and have also brainwashed some of our party leaders and members into believing that the SDP candidates would decamp to APC after the elections. It should be known that this is nothing but deceit and all party leaders and members should be aware and take note. Some leaders and members of the constituencies particularly from the Ekiti North and South senatorial districts were said to be majorly fingered in this unholy romance.

“The names of these party leaders and constituencies who are carrying the burden of annoyance and mobilizing against our party will remain anonymous so as not to create further and unnecessary uproar. We hereby appeal to these leaders and members to let go of every grievances and annoyance, as our focus should be on stabilizing the BAO lead administration, and by so doing, deliver to him the twenty six (26) members of the house of assembly.

“It should be of record that the main purpose of the SDP is to secure at least 10 constituencies, and by so doing, frustrate and tarnish the efforts and good programs of Governor Biodun Oyebanji
and making his administration ungovernable.

“If they should secure these seats, they would tamper with the good template of our great party for the people of Ekiti state in a bid to have a good fight in the next gubernatorial election.

“These are few of the horrible plans of the SDP that must be cut short and put to an end on time for the betterment of our great party and State. The All Progressive Congress (APC) members and leaders in the State should please mobilize across the state and elect our candidates for the continuity of BAO good leadership and Governance, Olajide said.
