Presidential Election Result: Either Peter Obi Or Atiku Is Lying – Oshiomhole

Adams Oshiomhole, a former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has declared that either Peter Obi or Atiku Abubakar is lying about the outcome of the 2023 presidential election.

Obi was the Labour Party (LP) candidate, while Atiku was the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the 2023 presidential election in Nigeria, which was held on Saturday, February 25.

However, according to the results announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) early Wednesday morning, the election was won by the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, with Atiku and Obi finishing second and third, respectively.

However, in separate press conferences on Thursday about the election results, Atiku and Obi claimed to have won and vowed to reclaim their mandates through the legal process.

In response to the allegations, Oshiomhole told Channels TV on Thursday that one of the two candidates must be lying because neither can win at the same time.

According to the former APC chairman, both Atiku and Obi are accusing each other of rigging the election.

He claimed Tinubu won the contest fairly and squarely, but the other top contenders refuse to admit defeat.

In his words;

Between His Excellency Peter Obi my very good friend and His Excellency Atiku Abubakar, one of them must be lying. That is clear by the fact that Atiku who came second said he won, Obi who came third said no he is the one who won.
