New Osun Commissioner Of Police Resumes, summons meeting for stakeholders

THE Osun state police command has announced resumption of a new Commissioner of Police for Election Duty in Osun State.

The announcement was contained in a Press Release by the State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Yemisi Opalola on Wednesday, February 22, 2023.

The name of the new Commissioner is, CP Peter O. Abayomi.

He was posted to the State purposely for Election Duty to guarantee free, fair and credible election in fulfillment of the promise of the Inspector General of Police, IGP Alkali Baba Usman.
A Pre-Election emergency meeting for all party leaders and candidates is to hold at the command’s headquarters in Osogbo on Friday, February 24, 2023 at 10.00am prompt.

Abayomi has been posted to Osun State Command for election duty and has resumed office today 22nd February, 2023 in fulfillment of the resolve of the IGP Alkali Baba Usman to enable the conduct of smooth, free, fair, credible and violence-free 2023 General elections.
