Inside Ondo: PDP Candidates’ Posters With Tinubu’s Photo Surfaces

All eyes are on Nigeria as it prepares for it’s general election by February 25th, and March 11th, for Presidential, NASS and Governorship, House of assembly election respectively as campaign Posters of two candidates of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), that featured their photographs with presidential candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC) Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, have flooded the streets of Akure, the Ondo State capital.

The candidates are; PDP Senatorial and House of Representatives seats for Ondo Central Senatorial District and Akure South/North Federal Constituency, Chief Ifedayo Adedipe and Kemisola Adesanya respectively.

Reporter who went round strategic locations in Akure South and Akure North local government areas, observes that the campaign posters featuring three candidates namely; Tinubu of the APC, Adedipe and Adesanya of the PDP.

Reacting, the two PDP candidates have disowned the posters.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Senatorial and House of Representatives candidates for Ondo Central Senatorial District and Akure South/North Federal Constituency, Chief Ifedayo Adedipe and Kemisola Adesanya respectively, dissociated themselves from campaign posters that featured their photographs with presidentual candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC) Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

In a statement, the two candidates of the PDP, who said they had no knowledge about the posters being shared by some elements on various platforms, saying there was no political alliance with Tinubu or anyone.

The two candidates said those circulating the posters are devilish, saying the poster was designed to distract and confuse their supporters to vote for the APC.
