Female lawmaker names classroom after late political opponent in Osun

THE lawmaker representing Ayedaade/Irewole/Isokan federal constituency, Hon. Taiwo Olukemi Oluga commissioned a block of three classroom facilitated by her office at Apomu, Isokan local government, Osun state.

The newly constructed building was named after her political opponent, Late Otunba Sola Arabambi, who died months after winning the ticket of the main opposition People’s Democratic Party to contest against Oluga.

According to the female lawmaker, “the gesture is in honour and remembrance of an illustrious son of Apomu, who contributed positively to the development of his town, the Federal constituency and humanity at large.”

She described death is an inevitable end for all, while praying to God to grant Arabambi’s family and the entire Apomu community fortitude to bear the huge loss.

The lawmaker urged students and teachers to take good care of the facility while promising to keep giving utmost priority to education in her constituency.

She advised her constituents to desist from politics of violence, while soliciting supports for Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, herself and other candidates of her party in the coming general elections. She described the 2023 general election as a ballot revolution to liberate the people.

She appreciated the paramount ruler of Apomu, Oba Kayode Adenekan, Apomu in Council, the students, representatives of Nigerian Union of Teachers, religious and political leaders and the good people of Apomu who graced the occasion.
