Osun: How Gov. Adeleke cleared hospital bill of woman who gave birth to triplet

Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun state of on Wednesday paid the hospital bill of an Osun woman identified as Mrs Ahmed, who gave birth to a set of triplet and was unable to pay the hospital.

Affairs TV reports that the Governor also sent his wife, Erelu Ngozi Adeleke to pay the woman and her children a courtesy visit at the hospital.

While speaking at the hospital, Erelu Adeleke thanked the hospital management for taking delivery of the babies despite the parents inability to pay their bills.

She encouraged the parents not to entertain any fear while adding that children are gifts from God and they should be celebrated in joy and in love.

“We are here today on the instruction of His Excellency, Governor Ademola Adeleke to rejoice with this family that God had blessed with triplet and also, so that we can clear all their bills in this hospital.

“I want to encourage you parents not to entertain any fear, this children will prosper because they are gifts from God and also gifts to Osun State.

“I also want thank you doctors and nurses for doing a good job despite the fact that they didn’t have the money to pay. You have shown to the whole world that we are good people in Osun.”

Speaking to Affairs TV News after the visit of the wife of the Governor, Bayo Ahmed, father of the triplets, thanked the Governor for his kind gesture.

He said, “I want to appreciate Governor Ademola Adeleke and his wife, Erelu Ngozi Adeleke for coming to our aid.
