VOICE AIR MEDIA News Update
All private schools and hospitals in Osun State have been urged to do the needful by paying all dues and levies accorded them for the year 2023 without any further delay.
This was made known by the Head of Department of Ministries, Departments and Agencies Unit of Osun Internal Revenue Service, Mrs Oluwayemi Oyekale during a live radio programme titled, “Alaye Lori Owo Ori”.
Mrs Oyekale during the programme emphasised that harmonized bill for the year 2023 is already in circulation in all their offices within the local government areas of the State. She advised them to make haste in collecting the bill so that payment of their dues and levies can be processed and documented before it is too late.
While asserting that discharging one’s civic responsibility to the state government is a supportive role of relief, she assured them that with their cooperation in ensuring prompt payment of taxes and other levies, the government of Senator Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke will continue with the good works that he has started in the state for the benefit of all.
Reacting to the question on the bill payment methods, she explained that owners of private schools and hospitals in the state can make their payment either by coming to Osun Internal Revenue Service headquarters or visit any bank with the code on the Harmonized bill, urging them never to forget to collect their Automated Revenue Receipt after their payment in the bank as evidence.
On the half an hour programme, the tax expert made it known that all private schools and hospitals in Osun have been given grace of extension till the first quarter of year 2023 to make payments, after which Revenue Task Force will be activated for proper checking and monitoring.
To avoid any embarrassing moment, she then urged concerned authorities to come for their bill, make payments and collect certificate for the payment being made.
