THE Osun State House of Assembly Member and Assembly candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) , Hon. Babatunde Festus Komolafe (BFK) has congratulated Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola, former Governor of Osun and coordinator Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council, on his victory at the election petition tribunal.
Reacting to the Tribunal judgement on Friday, January 27th 2023, the House Chairman on Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, who is representing Atakunmosa State constituency in a statement by his media aide, said that, he was not surprised that judgement was given in favour of Mr Oyetola for he truly won the first poll.
“Saying the judgment was an affirmation of the mandate Osun state people freely given to the ex-governor at the July 16th against over-voting.
He said; “First and foremost, I want to congratulate a dynamic Man on his victory at the Governorship Election Petition Tribunal as this judgement did not come to me as a surprise because he is a Man of the people and now he has been vindicated by the election petition tribunal”
“The judiciary remains the last hope of the common man and now the election petition tribunal has spoken loud and clear on the 2022 Governorship election in Osun State.”
While congratulating Osun people on the election petition tribunal victory, BFK used the opportunity to call on all the good people of Atakumosa State Constituency to continue to support the policies and programmes of Babatunde Festus Komolafe’s legislative assignment in the house in order to build a stronger constituency.
