Nigerian Varsity student arrested for allegedly kidnapping his Bestie days after flaunting money online

THE Anambra State Police Command has arrested a 400-level student of Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), Awka for allegedly masterminding the abduction of his best friend.

The suspect, Ndome Godsent Ogar, from the department of medicine, was said to have kidnapped his friend, a 300-level student from the department of Medical Laboratory.

Details of the incident are still sketchy but according to reports, Ndome and his gang demanded a N4million ransom, which was paid.

The suspect also reportedly kidnapped a primary one pupil in Umuanuka Otolo Nnewi and a ransom of N700k was paid before the child was released.

However, he ran out of luck recently when he was nabbed by security operatives in the state.

In related news, the Missouri Police Department arrested and charged a woman, Damesha Coleman for shooting dead two men she suspected of stealing her car, a Hyundai SUV.

The 35-year-old woman tracked down her stolen vehicle to St. Louis Speedie gas station where she gunned down the suspected carjackers, Darius Jackson and Joseph Farrar on Wednesday.

She was arraigned on Thursday on two counts of murder, one count of assault and three counts of armed criminal action for killing Jackson, 19 and Farrar, 49.

Missouri police found both men with gunshots to the torso when they arrived at the gas station. Farrar was found next to the gas pump while Jackson was on the ground next to the car and they were pronounced dead at the scene.

A third man sustained a gunshot to the head during the shooting incident, and was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.

Coleman, who is from the Spanish Lake area of St. Louis County explained to detectives that she went to the gas station to recover her stolen vehicle.

At about 10:30 pm, a CCTV camera captured Coleman walking up to a Hyundai Tucson at the gas station’s parking lot, the Post-Dispatch reported.

She was accompanied by a yet-to-be identified man but police authorities said they were both carrying guns.

Coleman could be seen opening the front passenger door of the SUV with her gun raised, while the man opened the driver’s side door, KMOV-TV reported. Police said that Coleman immediately started shooting.

This comes days after he flaunted bundles of cash online.
