THE Central Bank of Nigeria governor, Godwin Emefiele, has said that restrictions will be imposed on large cash withdrawals.
He said this on Wednesday at the unveiling of the newly-redesigned Naira notes at the State House.
“We will go forward to insist that cashless will be nationwide. We will restrict the volume of cash that people will withdraw over the counter.
If you need to withdraw large volume of cash, you will fill uncountable forms,” Emefiele vowed.
