Popular Nigerian Afropop singer, Kizz Daniel has revealed that he released the song, Mama because of his ex-girlfriend.
He said the hit song was a form of text message to his former lover, wherein he was begging for her forgiveness after he wronged her.
The singer made this known during an interview with Time as he noted that he messed up which was why he released the song to beg her to take him back.
According to him, it sadly did not work as they never got back together, but he is fine with how things turned out.
Kizz Daniel revealed that his ex-girlfriend is now happily married with kids.
