Reigning Spanish champions Real Madrid have reportedly joined the race to sign Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen, as those in charge of Los Blancos are impressed with his performances.
Osimhen is currently in the best form of his career, as the Nigerian keeps on getting goals for Napoli this season and they are also topping the Serie A table.
Despite Osimhen’s brilliance for Napoli so far this season, the future of the Nigerian is still a subject of speculation, with clubs like Manchester United and Arsenal also said to be interested.
In 22 games in all competitions this term for Napoli, Osimhen has netted 11 goals for the Serie A leaders and created four assists.
According to the report on Sportsmole, Real Madrid has identified the Nigerian as a player who will fit in perfectly in their squad.
The Super Eagles striker is contracted to his Naples club until June 2025, and Real Madrid will have to make a big offer before Napoli can consider selling him.
For the Super Eagles, Osimhen has also been impressive and has been tipped to equal/break Rashidi Yekini’s 37-goal record in the national team.
