Just In: Tinubu presents action plan to private sector Tuesday

The All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, will on Tuesday meet with the business and the organised private sector leaders to interact with them over his Action Plan.

This was disclosed in a statement issued on Sunday night by the Director of Media and Publicity for the APC Presidential Campaign Council, Bayo Onanuga.

The development is coming hours after the former Lagos State was endorsed by the factional head of the Pan-Yoruba socio-political group, Afenifere, Pa Reuben Fasoranti, and several South West leaders.

The meeting with the business leaders and captains of industry, which holds at the Eko Hotel at 12 noon, will afford the economic and thought leaders in the private sector to interact with the APC candidate.

A report revealed that the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), had on October 21 unveiled the Tinubu-Shettima policy document christened ‘Action Plan for a Better Nigeria’.

The document has enjoyed positive reviews across various segments of the economy since it was launched.

According to the Secretary of APC Presidential Campaign Council, James Faleke, the town hall session was convened to allow Tinubu to share his vision for a better Nigeria and allow for a critical examination of the policy options contained in the Action Plan.

He said, “Asiwaju Tinubu has a very rich private sector background and experience. He has an abiding faith in private enterprise and its fundamental role in national development and economic growth. The private sector needs power, predictability and consistency in policy to drive investment and boost national productivity.

“The dialogue will enable Business Leaders to also share their insights and concerns with our Presidential candidate. The town hall will be a great avenue to sell Asiwaju’s vision for Nigeria.”  CONTINUE READING………………………….
