Obaseki: APC, threat to Nigeria’s existence

Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State he’s explained why the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), must not be voted back to power in the 2023 general elections.

The Governor who stated this during the formal inauguration of the State campaign management council of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in Benin City, warned that Nigeria will complete collapse should the presidential candidate of the APC, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, be elected to govern the country.

He further alleged that “no administration has done the kind of damage President Muhammadu Buhari-led All Progressives Congress (APC) government has done to this country”.

According to him, “APC is threatening the coexistence of this country, but by the grace of God, when we come into power, we will revive this country, we will reduce the difference among our people in this country. We will make this country what it ought to be.”

“The debt this country is going to N60 trillions. When are we going to come out of it. Everyday, every month, they are printing and printing money to pay salaries. When I cried out years ago, I never knew it was as bad as this.

“What will happen to the Naira, only God will help us. They (APC) has destroyed the basis of this country,” he said.

Obaseki who warned that Nigeria will completely collapse if the APC presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, is elected President at the 2023 general elections, insisted that the PDP must win in order to rescue the country from the ruling APC.

“God forbid, APC comes into power, this country will break, this country will fail. APC is threatening the co-existence of this country, but by the grace of God, when we (PDP) come into power, we will revive Nigeria.”

Obaseki added that no administration has done the kind of damage the APC government has done to this country with the rate at which the Buhari-led government has been borrowing money, lamenting that Nigeria’s debt had skyrocketed to N60trn.

The Governor who is the Chairman of PDP Presidential Campaign Council in the state, charged the 10-man team to ensure victory for the party, adding: “whatever scarifice we must make, we must make it to change the fortune of this country”. CONTINUE READING………………………………
