Indian-origin politician Rushi Sunak has be elected as the new leader of the Conservative Party and will now become the UK’s new Prime Minister after rival Penny Mordaunt dropped out of the Tory leadership contest.
Sunak was born in Southampton to parents of Indian descent who migrated to Britain from East Africa in the 1960s
