Odebunmi Idowu To Contest As INEC Releases Final List Of House of Assembly Candidates In Ekiti

THE final list of candidates for the state house of assembly elections in Ekiti state has been released by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Voice air media reports.

The list which contains names/candidates for the Governorship/State House of Assembly Elections was pasted at both INEC State office and Local Government Area offices.

This was made known in a release by INEC Administrative Secretary, Biodun Onikate-Amosu, on Tuesday.

According to the release, he stated this during a Stakeholder Meeting with Security Agencies and Eighteen (18) Political Party Representatives at INEC State office, in Ibadan.

He said pasted names would serve as precursor to the commencement of campaign activities slated for 12th October 2022, adding that, campaign activities for the Presidential/National Assembly Elections have already begun on 28th September 2022 accordingly.

Comrade Odebunmi Idowu Sunday (ID Aluta), 36, on the platform of APC will slug it out with candidates of 5 other parties in the March 11, 2023 election in the state.

According to the final list of candidates released by INEC, those to contest with the leading Candidate are from ADP, PRP, NNPP, SDP, PDP.
