“We want to use this medium to appreciate the Executive Governor of Gombe State Alh Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya (Dan Majen Gombe) for his tremendous contributions to the development of Education in Gombe State and also despite the long seven months Strike he has been paying the salary of Gombe State University workers.

He is indeed a leader. We Also appreciate the effort of the Gombe Department of State security service (DSS) for the organization effort for always standing with Nigerian students.”

Highway closures were made possible by a movement to achieve calling off of the strike last week.
