Ahmad, the president’s former Personal Assistant on New Media, had resigned to contest primaries of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Gaya/Ajingi/Albasu Federal Constituency of the House of Representatives, but lost.
Boss Mustapha, Secretary to the Government of the Federation, confirmed the new appointment in a letter addressed to Ahmad.
The letter which was dated July 20, 2022, said the appointment took effect from July 19, 2022.
Ahmad had frowned at the way and manner the party’s primary was conducted, saying it was fraught with irregularities.
Reacting to the development in a social media post, Ahmad wrote, “Alhamdulillah! This is an honor. Thank you Baba Muhammadu Buhari, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for finding me worthy again and again, this time as your Special Assistant on Digital Communications. I will
