[Just In] Murder Of Timothy Adegoke: Court Adjourns Sitting In Suspects’ Trial

THE chairman of Hilton Hotel, Ile-Ife, Rahmon Adedoyin and the six others have been on trial over the alleged murder of Mr Adegoke Oludare Adegoke.

As the murder case resumes hearing today, Wednesday July 20, 2022.

The Hilton Hotel owner, Dr. Rahmon Adedoyin, who is standing trial alongside six other members of Staff of Hilton Hotels and Honours for the alleged murder of a Masters Degree student of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, Timothy Adegoke was absent at the court.

The reason for his absence is unknown as at the time of filing this report.

Meanwhile, the defending and prosecuting counsels have agreed to adjourn the case to October 10, 2022.

According to the leading prosecuting counsel, Mr. Femi Falana, the adjournment was to enable the completion of documentation of files meant for the court.

He went further that the adjournment was shifted till October 10 after the court recess.

The Chief Judge of Osun, Adepele Ojo, is in charge of the case.

The six other defendants are Chiefuna, Adeniyi Aderogba, Florence Oluwole, Oyetunde Kazeem, Kunle Adebayo and Adedeji Adesola.
