Osun Poll: Ogunbiyi’s ACCORD Wins Polling Unit, Floors Oyetola, Adeleke

THE candidate of Accord Party (AP) in the 2022 governorship election in Osun state Akin Ogunbiyi has won his unit 003, Ward 005, Methodist Primary school, Ile-Ogbo in Ayedire local government area.

The result was announced by the presiding officer at the polling unit in the presence of security agents, journalists, parties’ agents and voters who waited patiently.

Ogunbiyi, who voted with his wife, garnered 125 against 89 votes recorded by the candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Governor Gboyega Oyetola.

The candidate of People Democratic Party Senator Ademola Adeleke got 63 votes while African Action Congress and Action Democratic Party polled 002 and 001 votes respectively.

Ogunbiyi’s supporters, who waited patiently, started dancing and singing immediately the results were announced. CONTINUE READING…
