The committee set up by the leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to pick Atiku Abubakar’s running mate has picked Rivers State governor, Nyesom Wike.

VAM reports that Wike floored Ifeanyi Okowa, Delta state governor to emerged Atiku’s running mate.

It was earlier reported on Tuesday that Atiku’s backers preferred and picked Governor Okowa, adding that the feedback from the committee was awaited.
