MOVIE REVIEW: Omo Ghetto: The Saga 2020

Plot: This is a story about Lefty who, together with her squad from the ghetto, was always getting into one trouble or the other.

Review: This is the second movie in Omo Ghetto Franchise and serves as a sequel to the 2010 Omo ghetto

The movie is based on the life of twin sisters who live different lifestyles, Ayomide is an educated and civilized woman, while the other Lefty runs a gang ( Askamaya Bees), she’s vulgar, brute, and uncouth although both were adopted she could not cut out of her ghetto life.

The movie also follows lefty friends; Chummy Choko, Busty, and Nikky in Askamaya Ghetto classed as the Askamaya bees, you know the lifestyle of gangs, always in trouble or creating one.

I can’t wrap this up without touching Lefty’s boyfriend Femi Stone who’s a cyber-fraudster and will go to any length to get what he wants, he also has his gang.

The movie touches on almost every aspect of life, from the street to cybercrime, youth profiling, Nigeria’s security system and many more.

The one thing I love about the movie is how the local language and slang were blended into the movie by each actor/actresses

The action part was well painted also, and the movie in total was fun to watch
