PDP Primaries: Osun lawmaker, Niran Atidade loses party’s ticket

The lawmaker representing Ede South constituency in the Osun State House of Assembly, Hon. Olaniran Akanfe Atidade under the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), has lost his bid to retain the ticket for Assembly seat.

Atidade, who is a son of a former acting Chairman of the Osun PDP, Elder Sunday Akanfe Atidade, lost at the party’s primary held on Sunday.

Atidade confirmed the defeat in a post on his Facebook page said “To God be the glory. I tried but the gang up won”.

Atidade was elected in 2019 Election.

It was gathered that one Barrister Olayiwola Taofik won the primary and will now flag the party’s ticket in the 2019 general election. CONTINUE READING…
