Agunloye Taiwo greets Christians, calls for love and sacrifice for one another

The aspirant of All progressive party APC, Honourable Agunloye Taiwo, has admonished Ondo state and Akoko south east to strengthen their commitment to love and sacrifice for one another and for the nation at large.

The admonition is contained in his 2022 Easter message, released by Honorable Agunloye.

The statement said that the All Progressive party House of Assembly hopeful for the 2023 general election “reminded Akoko south east that Easter marks the greatest sacrifice ever made for the betterment of mankind when Jesus Christ offered himself to be crucified for the redemption of world.”

The statement quoted Taiwo as saying that the message of love, which Easter represents, must not be lost to Ondo state and Akoko south east, while urging Ondo state , Akoko south east and Nigeria to remain strong in the face of economic hardships and worsening security situation in the country.

He was quoted as saying, “The message of love and sacrifice which Easter embodies must not be lost on Nigerians.

“I encourage all Ondo state citizens to imbibe these virtues which Jesus Christ taught us in our personal lives and in our service to our great Ondo state, Nigeria, particularly as we participate in the transition activities that will lead to the election of new set of leaders for our nation in 2023.

“Let us remain strong in faith and fervent in prayers for the mercy and intervention of God in our lives and the affairs of our country

“It is my prayer that God will hear the cries of Nigerians over their economic misery and insecurity and provide the country with the right leadership in 2023 that will be capable of bringing these sufferings to an end.
