How to apply for INEC Ad Hoc Staff Recruitment For Ekiti and Osun Governorship Election 2022

Ahead of the forthcoming Governorship elections in Ekiti and Osun States, the Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC) has opened an online portal for interested and
eligible citizens to apply as ad-hoc staff.

The Ekiti and Osun governorship elections are slated for the June 18 and July 16, 2022, respectively.

The portal, according to the commission, would go live on Monday 4th April, 2022, at 12:00am, and closes on
Sunday 24th April, 2022 by 12:00 midnight, VAM News reports.

Things You Need To Have Before Applying For INEC Ad Hoc Staff;

A functional email address.

A functioning mobile phone number.

A personal bank account number.

A recent, white background Passport Photograph not larger than 5MB.

Contact details of two referees such as email address and phone number.

A valid Staff ID No./StudentID No (as displayed on your ID Card)

An NYSC Callup Number for former corps members (not earlier than 2019).

NYSC Callup Number for current corps members, 2021.

A copy of highest qualification in .pdf format

A copy of means of identification in .jpg or .jpeg format.

So here is how to apply

If you have previous created an account from the portal () just log in with your detail, locate New Applicants, to register for the 2022 Ekiti, Osun Government Elections engagement, just click on the associate link and follow the on-screen information to apply

But if you are still yet to create an account live from the INEC Portal. Just take this step

Visit the portal
Review the requirements for the available positions, if you are eligible.

Then,
Click on the register link, available on the page at the time of we writing this report, and follow the instructions

Next

Create your Password, this will automatically log you into the official portal of INEC Ad hoc recruitment, where you will find an application form to proceed and complete your application

When the application is open, kindly Fill the applications form and submit

ALSO Note: The application form is segmented into three sections, Namely

I: Your information sections

II: Your contact information section

iii: then Your Bank details section

Make sure you fill in your details correctly on all sections before you submit the form if you make any mistake, you will not be allowed to edit your details once the form has been submitted

Once you have filled in all your details, next is to Upload your passport photograph ( Remember) the file size should be less than 5MB

You will also be allowed to fill in the details of your referees, to ensure you gather information about your referees before applying

While applying, be smart, don’t hurry, check all fields and boxes, then when you are sure you have fill in all required files, next is to Submit the application and print your acknowledgment slip. keep the slip safe

Printing the acknowledgment slip is mandatory as you will need this for the final verification process

Lastly as seen on the INEC portal: Deployment would be done based on your selected state of residence.
