NABTEB releases Nov/Dec 2021 results

The National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) headquartered in Benin, Edo State has released the results of the examinations conducted in November and December 2021.

The results showed 76.30 per cent of 25, 915 candidates obtained five credits and above, including English Language and Mathematics.

Also 88.1 per cent (29,923 candidates) scored five credits and above, with or without English Language and Mathematics.

NABTEB’s Registrar/Chief Executive Officer, Prof. Ifeoma Isiugo-Abanihe, explained the results were for National Business Certificate (NBC)/National Technical Certificate (NTC) and the Advanced National Business Certificate (ANBC)/Advanced National Technical Certificate (ANTC) examinations for private candidates.

Isiugo-Abanihe said: “The business of conducting credible national examinations is not an easy one. We remain grateful to God that NABTEB has continued to conduct and release results of credible examinations every year, despite all odds.

“The board has continued to strengthen its quality assurance mechanisms, including measures to checkmate examination malpractice.

“For the examinations under reference, 197 candidates, representing 0.52 per cent of the total candidates that sat for the examinations were found to be involved in examination malpractice.

“This is an improvement, compared with 250 candidates (0.77 per cent) of the total candidates that sat for the 2020 November/December certificate examinations that were established to have been involved in examination malpractice.

“The board will continue to make efforts by stepping up training of examination personnel and use of technology to further check examination fraud.” CONTINUE READING…
