There was confusion at the Osun State High Court, Osogbo, Osun State on Thursday after the hearing of murder case against Dr. Rahman Adedoyin and six others on the alleged murder of Timothy Oludare Adegoke at the Hilton Hotel and Royals, Ile-ife in Osun State on November 6, 2021.
The drama started when the Police led Adedoyin and other suspects through the back door into the waiting hands of newsmen ready to capture him on video but were prevented by the Police.
Adedoyin and other suspects were led into a White Hulmer Bus like VIPs with police escorts at the front and the back of the bus and zoomed off in a commando like.
This action of treating suspects like special guests infuriated Timothy Adegoke’s brother, Gbade Adegoke and other family members protesting against the Police treating suspected criminals like Kings.
Meanwhile, Adedoyin was charged with attempted felony, conspiracy, unlawful interference with Adegoke’s body, and tampering with the hotel’s receipt and CCTV camera with the intent to destroy evidence that the victim had visited the hotel.
Six others arraigned are Magdalene Chiefuna, Adeniyi Aderogba, Oluwole Florence, Oyetunde Kazeem, Adebayo Kunle and Adedeji Adesola. CONTINUE READING…
