Oyetola Presents Staff of office to Olomo of Omo-Ijesa

The new Olomo of Omo-Ijesa in Oriade Local Government Area of Osun State, Oba Michael Oluwaseyi Adeolu Adejola (Odundun II), on Thursday presented a staff of office from the Osun State Government.

Presenting the staff of office to the monarch on behalf of Governor Gboyega Oyetola, the Special Adviser on Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Mr. Rasaq Adeosun, congratulated the people of Omo-Ijesa over the successful appointment of the monarch.

Oyetola, who described the new Olomo as a round peg in a round hole, noted that Olomo would experience massive development during the reign of Oba Adeolu.

Oyetola urged communities to join hands with his administration in fast-tracking the development of the state in the areas of ongoing road construction and rehabilitation, education development, healthcare delivery, water revolution and restoration of stipends for the aged.

He enjoined the people of Omo-Ijesa to cooperate with the royal father for the development of the town and also advised the monarch to maintain a high sense of responsibility, sincerity and dignity.
