Lagos: Gov Demolishes Nigeria’s Oldest Court In Igbosere

The Lagos State Government has begun the demolition of the State High Court in the Igbosere area of the state, months after it was set ablaze by hoodlums.

Hoodlums had attacked the historical edifice and set it ablaze on the sidelines of the October 2020 EndSARS protests in Lagos and other parts of the country.

The High Court sitting in Igbosere once housed the Supreme Court of Nigeria before it was relocated to Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory.
