Breaking: Another Yoruba Monarch Passes On Hours After Osun Monarch’s Demise

The Olupo of Oluponna, Oba Emmanuel Onaolapo Oyebanji, Fadare II, has joined his ancestors.

Oba Oyebanji joined his ancestors yesterday, according to sources in Oluponna, the headquarters of Ayedire South Local Council Development Area, State of Osun.

The news of his death comes few hours after Oba David Omisore, the father of former Deputy Governor and former Senator, Iyiola Omisore, has passed on.

Oba David Omisore turned 90 in July 2021, he was the Olu of Olode in the Ife South Local Government Area of Osun State.
