He noted that the people and Government of the State of Osun were very proud of the appointment of the Iwo born new SCSN President, and optimistic that he would succeed and take the Council to greater heights.

Oyetola wished Sheikh Hadiyatullah a successful stay in his new office.

The Statement reads in part: “On behalf of my family, the government and people of Osun, I congratulate you on your appointment as the President, Supreme Council for Shari’ah in Nigeria, SCSN. This is a well deserved appointment and I am confident you will justify the confidence reposed in you.
