Bola Ige’s 20th Anniversary: Nigeria Government Urged To Involve Equality Among Every Citizen

The Nigeria government has been urged to involve equality among every citizen to ensure peace in the nation as most of Nigeria Governors did not have respect for rule of laws.

The emeritus Chief Judge of Oyo State, Hon. Justice Badejoko Olateju Adeniji made this call on Tuesday at the 20th year Bola Ige memorial symposium held at Ikeja Airport Hotel, that she had escaped assassination many times during her time in service and very much aware of the late chief Bola Ige’s transparency and respect of rule of laws.

She expressed that Nigeria needed a lot of prayers and God’s protection to make Nigeria governance work for all with national security. Because the politicians could order to eliminate whoever face they do not like in government. She said.

The Lagos State Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo- Olu represented by the Special Adviser on Chieftaincy matters, Prince Bayo Osiyemi said there was no attempt of murder that would have made to anyone in Nigeria and to late chief Bola Ige that is hidden to God and it still remain an injustice committed to the whole society and not to a person. While he spoke on the theme which says ”2 decades of injustice; what are the implications on Nigerians” stating that the truth must be told that the environment has been faced with a lot of injustice and insecurity that needed to be addressed and calls for the respect of rule of laws and human rights.

He however charged Nigerians to qoute from the book of psalms as the Christmas is approaching to say the prayers for God to lead us not into temptation as well as the Muslim faithful to use the Quran verse of protection.

The Oyo State 2023 Governorship Aspirant,Chief Adeniyi Akintola(S. A. N) said it is time for Yoruba descendants to appreciate their differences in the country as well as keep late Bola Ige memory alive because a lot has thrown away that concept of justice.
He thereby advised that justice should be practiced in all home henceforth to do things right in the country.
Others activities featured were presentation of Awards to the Ogun state indigene,Pastor Dr. Oluwakunle Gap and former Deputy Governor of Lagos, Prince Abiodun Ogunleye represented by Hon. Wasiu Adesina of Ikorodu by the Grand Council of Yoruba youth.
