Breaking: Ex-Ekiti Governorship Aspirant, Aluko Is Dead

A former governorship aspirant in Ekiti State, Senator Gbenga Aluko has died.

The Ode Ekiti born politician said to have died this evening after he collapsed in his house in Abuja.

Report says he was rushed to an hospital where he eventually gave up the ghost.

An aide to the former lawmaker confirmed the news to a radio station that Senator Aluko was not sick nor exhibit any symptom of sickness.

Gbenga Aluko, was elected Senator for the Ekiti South constituency of Ekiti State, Nigeria at the start of the Nigerian Fourth Republic, running on the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) platform.
