Tragedy as Man electrocuted during ‘illegal’ assignment in Ondo Varsity town

There was a tragedy as a Man identified as Oluomo was electrocuted to death in Akungba, Akoko South West Local Government Area of Ondo State while reconnecting electric cables.

The incident occurred Tuesday night, October 19th, at very close to Benin Electricity Distribution Company (BEDC) office in the community.

Akungba, was the community where Adekunle Ajasin University was situated.

According to a resident, the deceased was trying to reconnect wires on a pole when he was electrocuted on tuesday night around 9pm.

Eyewitness also disclosed that Oluomo attempted to make an illegal connection on a pole when he met his untimely death.
