Fayemi’s Third Year Anniversary: NANS Extols Ekiti Governor

The National Association Of Nigerian Students, NANS under the leadership of the Revolutionary National President, Comrade Sunday Asefon has felicitated with his Excellency, Dr Kayode Fayemi, on his third year anniversary in office.

“Three years down the line, the mandate to rescue Ekiti state from the shackles of the hijackers and restore her lost dignity, the return of Ekiti to its rightful place in the committee of progressive states is now a success story,” Asefon said.

As the National representative in the students community, the education sector in Ekiti State is enjoying the best patronage from the government in our recent history; in the likes of Building of educational facilities, model schools, free education, free school leaving certificate examination registration, payment of subvention to tertiary institutions, full accreditation of Ekiti State University College of Medicine, Upgrading of the College of Education Ikere to a full fetch University of Education, Science and Technology, payment of salaries and emolument of teachers and staffs of tertiary education now looks normal, all because Ekiti is blessed with a governor with the heart of Ekiti people at heart.

Asefon further explained that despite the challenges imposed by global economic challenges and worst still, the global pandemic COVID, Ekiti’s journey to full recovery for the cancerous experience imposed on her by the last administration in the state has been swift, wholesome, comprehensive, and commendable. By all available international indexes for measuring transparency, fiscal responsibility, and corporate governance practices, Ekiti’s trajectory has been redefined, raking high to the admiration of all, all due to the purposeful leadership of his Excellency.

The state is indeed blessed to have Dr. John Kayode Fayemi has God-sent Governor.

In Ekiti State, children now have access to; Free and compulsory education in public primary and secondary schools in Ekiti State.

Free SSCE and UTME examination fees in all public schools in Ekiti State.
Free education in all Technical Colleges in Ekiti State.

Free Feeding in all public primary school children from Primary 1-3 (Ekiti Kete School Meal).
Four (4) new modern Model Colleges (Banji Akintoye Comprehensive High School, Ayo Fasanmi Comprehensive High School, Deji Fasuan Comprehensive High School, and David Oke Comprehensive High School).
