Rep Ajilesoro Renovates Ancient Palace ‘ile Nla’ To Mark 2021 Olojo Festival

The lawmaker representing Ife federal constituency in the National Assembly (House of Representatives) under the platform of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Hon. Taofeeek Abimbola Ajilesoro, has taken it upon himself the renovation of the ancient palace ‘Ile Nla’ in the Ooni of Ife’s palace, of Osun state.

For this year olojo festival to be more enjoyable, memorable and mind blowing event, there must be some changes in the ancient city of Ile-Ife, most especially in the palace. This makes some committee members in the palace to call the attention of the federal lawmaker to some places that needs some renovation, most especially the ancient palace ‘Ile Nla’ which is the first palace. Shortly after he got the message, Hon. Ajilesoro swung into action.

A visit by our medium to the palace shows that professionals had been absorbed into the renovation project and work is almost completed on the ancient palace. When asked how he managed to renovate the palace despite the short notice, the lawmaker said that he doesn’t take with levity the welfare of his people.

“If you have been following my activities since my assumption, you will agree with me that I don’t take with levity anything that has to do with the welfare of my people. They massively voted for me, believing that I am capable, hence I must not let them down.”

The ancient palace has been renovated to taste as this has not in anyway affected other projects going on in other palaces, he said.

While speaking with eyewitness, Taofeeek Abimbola Ajilesoro had performed very well.

Eyewitness appreciated the federal lawmaker for taking a step further towards the renovation of the ‘Ile Nla’ palace in addition to other projects going on in other palaces.

“Hon. Ajilesoro has started very well and he is doing well. We are proud of his quality representation.

“The lawmaker has not forgotten us since he was elected as our representative. We thank him for this.

“Although the constituency want him to still help us to continue with the good representation and I am certain that he will still do much more,” resident said.
