On Sunday 12th September, 2021, Comrade Desmond Ignatius Orisewezie Esq. along with his friend Oritsetimeyin Ochuko .! paid a special visit to the Presidential Mansion, Ogun State to meet several Distinguished personalities such as;
1. His Excellency, Nigeria’s former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo GCFR.
2. His Royal Majesty, Kabieyesi Oba Obafemi Ogunleye (The Toluwade of Akinale).
3. Dr. Eruani, President of Azikel Group of Companies.
During the meeting with the Nigeria’s former leader, Comrade Desmond Ignatius Orisewezie Esq. congratulated him on his appointment by the African Union to lead the Union’s special intervention in the Horn of Africa.
They also discussed matters relating to International law and how Africa can witness relative peace, progress and prosperity.
The high point of the special visit was the presentation of a book which was co-edited by Comrade Desmond Ignatius Orisewezie Esq. titled “LAW AND SOCIETY IN NIGERIA” to His Excellency.
Fmr. President Obasanjo was grateful and said he finds a special kind of zeal in the Comrade.
He promised that he will read the book and get back to him later.
Desmond also presented a copy of the book to the President of Azikel Group Conglomerate and he expressed his gratitude and how proud he was of what the Comrade is doing at a young age. Same with the Female Professor of Law.
Comrade Desmond Ignatius Orisewezie Esq. in his remark made available to VAM News, he said, “I am overwhelmed and grateful to God for this opportunity. I rep Umunede, I rep. Delta State”.
